Hello everyone, my name is Fran, Im married to Paul and we have a little boy named Matthew who is 4 and is the centre of our world. Matthew has additional needs though at this point we arent quite sure what they are as he has no diagnosis. Matthew has a serious speech delay and is attending speech therapy on a ongoing basis. Matthew has a lot more difficulty in school as he finds the routines and constant change difficlult to deal with.
We are currently having him statmented for his first year of primary school, and he is being assesed by the autism team shortly. Im going to visit a special learning unit at a primary school tomorrow where we are thinking of sending him.
