While I have 5 mins I thought I'd just update you on Grace Very Happy

Grace has been a busy girl the past few weeks, she has started taking tiny bits of pureed food from a spoon, she still has a long way to go but it’s a start! She is still having the High Energy Formula Milk and is gaining weight beautifully, her weight and height are all in proportion which is brilliant.

sleeping has gone from bad to worse! She is now waking up around 3am and staying awake for about an hour and then waking up again around 5am, she has just been prescribed Melatonin, which we are going to trial for 2 weeks to see if that has any effect.

Grace was seen by and Occupational Therapist who have loaned us a chair for Grace to use, it’s great as she now gets the support she needs to be sat up, it also comes with a tray so she’s able to play with her toys , it’s lovely to watch her being able to play nicely without struggling to keep upright . The Occupational Therapists did say Grace was significantly delayed, which we knew already, she has given us some things and ideas to work on with her so we are going to get cracking with that! We have also been invited to use the sensory room at the Child Development Clinic once a month which Grace will love whilst we were she couldn’t take her eyes from the Bubble Column it had such a calming effect on her , It was great to see her relaxed and not so anxious about her surroundings.

We have loads of appointments booked in for May, feels as tho I'm always sitting in some waiting room or another!

Anyway hope everyone is well ! Will have a look through some posts after I pick up Harry from School

Pauly wakes a lot in the night too,the melatonin only gets him to sleep but doesnt keep him asleep.
